Nick Homburg is a photographer, professor, and documentary filmmaker who believes the best way to learn visual storytelling is through real-world experience. Through FotoProMedia, he and the team are passionate about sharing the art of photography and helping others grow as storytellers behind the lens.

Our mission is to give students and creators the tools, guidance, and hands-on opportunities they need to document real people, authentic moments, and meaningful stories. We believe photography is more than just taking pictures, it’s about learning how to observe the world, connect with others, and tell stories that matter.

Through workshops hosted across the country in places like Alaska, Kansas, and Idaho, students gain practical experience working in real environments and learning directly through the process of creating. Every workshop is built around the core principles of documentary storytelling, hands-on education, and giving students the confidence to capture stories of their own.
